Project notes

This job was all about a clean custom look in a challenging space: high ceilings, a roof transition that creates tricky crown angles, and a mirrored layout of wall frames that had to match perfectly from side to side.

We used scaffolding to keep everything safe and accurate at height, then completed the finishing process: caulk/fill, crisp trim paint, and a full wall repaint so the whole area looked consistent and “new.”

Trim & moulding FAQ

Quick answers about crown moulding, wall frames, and paint finish.

Can crown moulding be installed on angled or vaulted ceilings?
Yes. The key is correct angle measurement and consistent spring angle so joints stay tight and the reveal stays clean. Complex transitions often take extra layout time, but the result looks “built-in.”
Do wall frames need perfect symmetry?
For the best look, yes — we plan spacing and alignment so frames mirror cleanly and line up with architectural features.
What makes the paint finish look sharp?
Prep and detailing: filling, sanding, caulking, proper masking, and using the right trim paint so edges stay crisp.
