Project notes

This was a two-bathroom update focused on clean finishes and durable installation. We started with demolition — removing the old tile and tubs to prep both spaces for rebuild.

In the first bathroom, we installed a standard tub, set 12"×24" wall tile, and refreshed the look by repainting the existing cabinets. The goal was a clean, modern update without replacing everything.

In the second bathroom, the finish level was higher-end: large-format tile, a freestanding tub, and new cabinetry/vanity. The result is a bright, spacious look with a “new build” feel.

Bathroom remodel FAQ

Quick answers to common questions about tile, tubs, timelines, and planning multi-bath projects.

Is it cheaper to remodel two bathrooms at once?
Often yes — mobilization, material runs, and scheduling are more efficient when we bundle work. The best approach is a quick walkthrough (or photos + measurements) to confirm scope.
What’s the difference between 12×24 and large-format tile?
Large-format typically means bigger panels and fewer grout lines. It looks more seamless, but requires tighter prep and layout to keep everything flat and aligned.
Can you repaint cabinets instead of replacing them?
Yes — if cabinet boxes are solid, repainting is a great value upgrade. It’s one of the fastest ways to make a bathroom feel new without a full cabinet replacement.
